At least six policemen were killed and 14 others injured when five bombs exploded in the firing range ground of the Police Training College in Quetta in Pakistan's Balochistan province Thursday, police said. “These were the landmines that exploded early morning when policemen were present in the firing range for training,” Quetta police chief Salman Syed said. He said there were five blasts that rocked the firing range where policemen are given training on weapon use. The trainees belonged to different areas of the Quetta district. Four of the wounded persons were stated to be in a serious condition. The limbs of some of them were blown up in the blasts. No individual or group claimed responsibility. However, police immediately took into custody two tribesmen. The injured persons were rushed to the Quetta Civil Hospital.
