Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Arab Sports Games Federation, will be awarded a prestigious medal by the Moscow-based International Informatization Academy IIA, an affiliate of the United Nations, in recognition of his pioneering roles in the service of sports and youth sectors in the Kingdom, and Arab world and his contributions to the continental and international sports organizations and agencies, it was disclosed here today. In a meeting with Prince Sultan bin Fahd at his office in Riyadh today, Mohammed Fahd Al-Shihri, a Saudi prominent media man who is also the economic and social consultant at the IIA, handed over the invitation letter to Prince Sultan to attend the decorating ceremony to be held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on Tuesday 3/5/1427 H. (corresponding to May 30, 2006) on the sidelines of the International Conference on Informatization. On his part, Prince Sultan expressed thanks to the academy for this title, wishing its leaders every success.
