The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has expressed appreciation for the heartfelt feelings spelt out by citizens in response to his decision to reduce prices of benzene and diesel. "Your response has provided a clear evidence of the existing harmony and the loyalty of the Saudi citizens towards their religion and country," said King Abdullah. "This will never be a strange matter because you are the sons and grandsons of the loyal and honored men who had unwaveringly supported the unifier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the late King Abdulaziz." "I would like to express my appreciation for your noble stand, and I want all citizens to be aware of the fact that I have shouldered my historical responsibility towards you taking into account your concerns, aspirations and hopes, and with the grace of Almighty Allah I will dedicate my efforts and devote my time in the service of my religion, country and people. If I succeed that will be with the help and grace of Almighty Allah, and if I don't succeed then that will be my own mistake." "What I have done was not more than realization of our common concerns, and it is an expression for our hopes and aspirations for a bright and promising future. With the grace of Almighty Allah, we will remain as the nation of the Kingdom of monotheism, unity and humanity as well as the nation of a solid and promising determination,' he said and added ' I promise you to spare no effort in your service in any matter that may benefit your religion and your world."
