THE CH-47 CHINOOK CRASHED LATE FRIDAY WHILE ON A MISSION IN SUPPORT OF OPERATION MOUNTAIN LION, AN OFFENSIVE TO ROOT OUT TALIBAN AND AL-QAIDA MILITANTS NEAR THE MOUNTAINOUS BORDER WITH PAKISTAN.
