President George W. Bush will attend the annual United States-European Union summit in Vienna on June 21, the White House announced. Nuclear proliferation, Iran, Iraq, and terrorism will be atop the agenda that the participants get together. White House spokesman Scott McClellan announced that Bush will meet with the presidents of the European Council and European Commission. McClellan said they will discuss various global issues, including nuclear proliferation, combating terrorism financing, aiding reconstruction in Iraq, promoting peace and democracy in Europe, reducing trade barriers, and promoting energy security.
