Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, has reiterated the adherence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the teachings of Islam. Crown Prince Sultan, who was speaking here on Tuesday evening after patronizing the graduation ceremony of the fourth batch of the Riyadh-based Kingdom's schools, said Saudi Arabia was established on the solid base of islam. "Anything which is not based on the religion of the almighty allah is futile," he said noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established on the holy Quran and Sunnah (the Prophet's teachings). Crown Prince Sultan pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the first patronizer of sciences and knowledge, has opened the door of dialogue so as to enable everyone to say what he wants to say. The Crown Prince congratulated Prince Al-waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kingdom's schools, on this great achievement. "We pray to the almighty Allah to protect our country from any envious (quarters)," he said, adding that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, established by the late king Abdulaziz and his sons: King Saud, King Faisal, King Khalid and King Fahd, will go ahead on the path of science and knowledge under the umbrella of the heavenly Shariah."
