Mushyiat, Saudi Arabia, May 2, SPA -- As many as 201 persons of different nationalities embraced Islam in Khamis-Mushyiat province in 1426 H, while more than 800 persons embraced Islam within the last six years. Dr Abdullah Al-Qahtani, the supervisor of the cooperative office for call and guidance in Khamis-Mushyiat province, said the office, established in 1421 H, has been working under the supervision of the branch of the ministry of Islamic affairs, endowments, call and guidance in Assir region. He noted that the office is keen on urging people to follow the path of proper Islam and the path of the venerable forefathers. "Moreover, the office is keen on calling the non-Muslims to embrace Islam." Al-Qahtani pointed out that the office is planing to carry out a program which aims at spreading Islam throughout the world. "Within the framework of this program, the office has sent more than 85,000 books to various countries of the world', he added.
