THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL ON TUESDAY STRONGLY CONDEMNED THE BOMB ATTACKS THAT KILLED AT LEAST 30 PEOPLE AND INJURED MORE THAN 100 OTHERS AT THE EGYPTIAN RESORT OF DAHAB MONDAY NIGHT, according to dpa. THE COUNCIL SAID IN A STATEMENT THAT IT CONDEMNED THE ATTACKS "IN THE STRONGEST TERMS" AND CALLED ON EGYPTIAN AUTHORITIES TO BRING THE PERPETRATORS TO JUSTICE. "THE COUNCIL EXPRESSES ITS DEEPEST SYMPATHIES AND CONDOLENCES TO THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND TO THE PEOPLE AND GOVERNMENT OF EGYPT," SAID THE STATEMENT, WHICH WAS READ BY CHINESE AMBASSADOR WANG GUANGYA, PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL.
