Holland's Guus Hiddink signed a two-year four-million-euro contract as the new Russian national football team coach in Moscow Friday. A crash course in Russian was also part of the deal under which he will be based in Amsterdam and commute by air for training sessions, dpa reported. "I must speak one language with the players if I want to build a tight team," Hiddink, 59, told journalists. The trainer moves from Dutch team PSV Eindhoven and may extend his contract by two years. His arrival is hoped to turn round the Russian team after a dismal performance in recent years. Hiddink's salary will be paid from a foundation supported by Russian oil tycoon Roman Abramovich, who owns of Britain's Chelsea soccer club. -- SP 21 28 Local Time 18 28 GMT
