President George W. Bush will meet later this month with visiting President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, the White House announced Monday. At the April 28 meeting, the two leaders will discuss democracy promotion and cooperation in the Caucasus, energy diversification, and security issues, the White House said in a statement. "Azerbaijan is a key ally in a region of great importance and a valued partner, making important contributions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo," the White House wrote.
