Kingdom, free from bird flu

Kharj, Saudi Arabia, April 9, SPA-- The Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is free from bird flu.
In a speech at an inauguration ceremony of Poultry Central Slaughtering House in Kharj today, he affirmed that the ministry is dealing with this disease transparently and clearly.
He called on citizens and expatriates to be indifferent to baseless rumors.
Dr. Balghunaim also demanded that mass media take news from its official sources and verify its authenticity in order not to unreasonably raise concern.
