FORUM FOR MUSLIM SCHOLARS OPENED

UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ, PRINCE MISHA'AL BIN MAJED BIN ABDULAZIZ, THE GOVERNOR OF JEDDAH, OPENED HERE TODAY THE FIRST ISLAMIC FORUM FOR THE MUSLIM SCHOLARS.
THE FORUM IS ORGANIZED BY THE MAKKAH-BASED MUSLIM WORLD LEAGUE (MWL) UNDER THE TITLE OF 'THE UNITY OF THE MUSLIM NATION' WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF MORE THAN 300 MUSLIM SCHOLARS AND INTELLECTUALS.
ADDRESSING THE OPENING SESSION, DR ABDULLAH AL-TURKI, THE MWL'S SECRETARY GENERAL, SAID THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE FORUM WILL REVIEW THE BEST MEANS OF IMPLEMENTING THE RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED BY THE ISLAMIC SUMMIT AS WELL AS THE ROLE THAT COULD BE PLAYED BY THE MUSLIM SCHOLARS AS REGARDS THE UNITY OF THE MUSLIM NATION AND THE SOLIDARITY OF THE MUSLIM SCHOLARS WITH THEIR LEADERS.
HE UNDERLINED THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MUSLIM UNITY, AND SAID IT IS AN ESSENTIAL MATTER FOR CONFRONTING DANGERS AND PROBLEMS FACING THE MUSLIMS.
