Dr Rami Hamadallah, the president of the Palestinian Najah University, has lauded the support being extended by Saudi Arabia to the Palestinian people. In a statement to SPA, Dr Hamadallah said Saudis have been continuously extending support to their Palestinian brethren. He noted that the Palestinian ministry of education and higher education and UNESCO had recently signed contracts pertaining to utilization of the Saudi financial gift amounting to $15,198,852. Dr Hamadallah pointed out that 19157 Palestinian university students will benefit from the Saudi gift. On the other hand, Dr Hamadallah hailed the Kingdom's inalienable stand in supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people. He described the Saudi initiative, known as the Arab peace initiative, as the plain foundation for the future of peace that based on the international legitimacy in the Middle East.
