With just 100 days to go until the opening match of the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany, organizers launched the official match tickets Wednesday in Kaiserslautern, according to Deutsche Presse Agentur (dpa). The tickets, which are green and yellow in colour and feature a stylistic wave, were symbolically handed over by World Cup mascot Goleo VI (a lion) to organizing committee vice-president Wolfgang Niersbach. The lucky fans who have tickets will receive them between six and eight weeks before the tournament, which runs June 9 to July 9 in 12 German cities. --SP 20 56 Local Time 17 56 GMT
