1st Exploratory Trip to Rubie Al-Khali

The Chairman of Saudi Geological Survey Commission Dr. Mohammed bin Asaad Tawfiq has inaugurated the first scientific and exploratory trip to Rubie Al-Khali (Empty Square).
The 13-day trip was launched from the Commission's camp here with the participation of an elite of scientists and researchers from the Kingdom and abroad.
At the inaugural ceremony, names of scientists, universities and bodies participating in the trip were announced.
