Gunmen pulled factory workers off buses northeast of Baghdad and killed 47 of them, a provincial council member said. The victims who worked for a brick factory were traveling in three buses when they were stopped at a checkpoint in the Nahrawan area, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Baqouba, and killed, said Dhari Thuban, a member of the Diyala Provincial Council, according to a report of the Associated Press.
