Minister of Higher Education Dr Khaled Al-Anqari will inaugurate here on Monday a forum on the new trends of organizing book exhibitions, due to be organized by the Ministry of Higher Education. The forum will be attended by officials from the ministries of higher education and culture and information as well as members of the academic staff and owners of publishing houses, literary men and intellectuals. The forum aims at shedding light on the concepts of modern book shows, means of benefiting from the experiences of the international books shows, means of dealing with the problems of writers, publishers and authors. The participants of the sessions of the forum will review a number of topics including the concept of book exhibitions, the experiences of other countries in the field of book exhibitions, technical problems of book exhibitions, as well as problems pertaining to forgery, rights of intellectual property, censorship and other related topics.
