A cholera outbreak that has hit several Zimbabwean districts has claimed five more lives in the capital Harare, taking the death toll countrywide to almost 30, the official Herald newspaper said on Monday. Zimbabwe has suffered periodic outbreaks of cholera and other diseases in the last few years, straining a health system struggling amid a severe economic crisis. The Herald said a new cholera outbreak in Harare's Epworth township had killed five and left 20 others ill. It said health authorities had set up a treatment camp in the township.
