Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz told Tabuk Governor Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Wednesday that the recent visit of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to Pakistan further strengthened Pak-Saudi relations, says an official statement. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy broad based and deep-rooted relations in every field including diplomatic, cultural, political and economic fields, Aziz said. The Tabuk governor called on Aziz at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad. The prime minister said that the visit of Saudi King further strengthened the strong strategic partnership that exists between the two countries. It has also enhanced prospects of cooperation in economic field as well as in education, scientific and technological cooperation. Aziz thanked Prince Fahd for setting up a hospital at Dalbandin (Balochistan) and said this will serve as a symbol of partnership between the two countries. According to the statement, Prince Fahd thanked the government and people of Pakistan for the warm welcome accorded to the Saudi King and tremendous feelings of love and respect expressed during his visit. He said that this was a manifestation of the deep and strong relationship that exists between the two countries. Prince Fahd appreciated the services being rendered by overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia and commended them for their competence, professionalism and dedication.
