The Jordanian "Amman Court" has sentenced editors-in-Chief of "Al-Mehwar" and "Shihan" Arabic newspapers to two weeks imprisonment for republishing anti-prophet caricatures which had already been published in Danish, Norwegian and French newspapers. It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian Law issues sentences against anyone who disrespects Muslims ranging from one to three years in prison. Meanwhile, the Secretariat of Al-Quds city's general Islamic Conference emphasizes the establishment of a multi-lingual satellite Islamic channel to defend Islamic issues.
