Egyptian president thanks countries which helped in the ferry mishap

Egyptian President Mohammad Hosni Mubarak thanked Saudi Arabia and all countries that helped in search and rescue operations launched following the mishap of the Egyptian ferry "Al-Salam-98" which sank while on journey from the Saudi port of Dhiba to the Egyptian port of Safajah early Friday.
In a statement today, the president condoled the families of the victims of the mishap.
