Top officials say the just concluded visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-aziz, to Islamabad would immensely strengthen the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Former Prime Minister and President of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that King Abdullah is "a glittering symbol of dignity and unity of the entire Muslim Ummah. "The award of Nishan-e-Pakistan award to King Abdullah by Pakistan is acknowledgment of his unparalleled services to the cause of Ummah and Pakistan," Hussain said in a statement. He said King Abdullah was not only the honourable guest of Pakistan but also guest of entire Pakistani nation. "His warmest reception at Islamabad was true reflection of deep sentiments which Pakistanis feel in their hearts," the PML chief said. He said that in prevailing national and international scenario, the King's visit has acquired an unusual importance and would have deep impacts on the future politics of South Asia and Islamic world. Hussain hoped that like in the past, King Abdullah would in the future also pay the decisive leading role for the resolution of Kashmir, Palestine and other international issues and for reformation of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) as an organized effective and representative international body of the Islamic states according to new vision and emerging needs. "At this juncture of history, King Abdullah has the ability to change the direction of history," he added. --MORE 13 53 Local Time 10 53 GMT
