Saudi Arabian Airlines reported that it carried more than 2.4 million pilgrims during the airline's Haj season that started last December. The airline had carried the 2.4 million pilgrims on 12,544 different scheduled and additional flights between the start of December until the beginning of this week, Jeddah-based Arab News reported . The airline is expecting to carry around 3.6 million passengers on 19,000 scheduled and additional flights during 2005 Haj season. The total number of passengers includes the Umrah and Haj travelers in addition to Saudi tourists who travel extensively during Eid Al-Adha holiday that coincides with the Haj season.
