Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora made his first official visit to Jordan on Sunday for talks with King Abdullah II and his Jordanian counterpart, Marouf al-Bakhit, on the U.N. probe of the assassination of Rafik Hariri, other regional issues and improving economic ties. He was met by al-Bakhit at Amman's Marka Military Airport and went straight to talks with the Jordanian monarch. He will meet with al-Bakhit later in the day. Saniora also was expected will sign several trade, cultural and educational agreements to bolster relations between the two countries. Saniora and al-Bakhit were expected to hold a news conference later Sunday, the Associated Press reported.
