Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad received here today the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ISESCO) Dr Abdulaziz al-TUWAIJRI. They reviewed aspects of cooperation between ISESCO and Syria in the educational, cultural and scientific domains. According to the Syrian news agency "SANA," Dr al-TUWAIJRI highlighted the historical role of Syria in spreading the Arab and Islamic culture. He noted that Aleppo was the capital of the Islamic culture last year and Damascus is the capital of the Arab culture this year.
