Kaabah's Kiswa (cover) was changed today as is the annual tradition in the presence of a number of officials of the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs. The total cost of the Kiswa, which is made in a special factory, amounts to SR 20 million and made of natural black-color silk. The Kiswa's height is fourteen meters and it has a 95 cms wide belt in the upper third portion of it with 47 meters length full of Islamic decoration. Below the belt, there are Quranic verses woven with silver-silk colored by gold surrounding the Kabaah. The Kiswa consists of five portions each of which covers one side of the Kabaah; and one of them is the Kabaah's door-cover which is six meters high and three meters and a half wide with Quranic verses woven by silver-silk colored by gold in addition to Islamic decoration.
