Supreme Judicial Council calls for Sighting Crescent

The Supreme Judicial Council has urged Muslims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to sight the crescent of the lunar month of Dhul-Hijjah on Friday evening (Dec 30, 2005) and Saturday evening (Dec 31, 2005).
'Those who may sight the crescent are requested to to report to the nearest court for the registration of their witness or to inform the concerned authorities at their villages or cities', said the statement issued by the Supreme Judicial Council.
