Saudi Minister for Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Call, & Guidance Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul-Aziz bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has approved Hajj Rituals Step-by-Step Program to be undertaken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for the third time consecutively. The program aims at using various highly-developed guiding media means to explain Hajj rituals to pilgrims in a fast and easily-understood patterns. The Minister's Advisor Talal Al-Aqeel said that the ministry will distribute fifteen million copies of the Holy Qura'n, books, cassettes and guidance films among the pilgrims this year who arrive in the Kingdom through air, sea, and land routes. Al-Aqeel added that the ministry will distribute 1.2 million copies of the Holy Qura'n as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the pilgrims through a chain of committees in charge of implementing the comprehensive Hajj plan. The Hajj plan for the year 1426 A.H was started by 2000 Da'eya (Islamic Propagator) and translators supported by many technical teams. Al-Aqeel said that the total cost of the distribution of" the pilgrims gifts" in addition to the means of guidance will be more than SR 40 million, pointing out that the Kingdom has been utilizing all its resources to help the pilgrims perform Hajj in the most proper manner.
