Israeli troops kill Palestinian at Gaza security fence

Quds city, Dec 18, SPA -- Israeli troops overnight shot dead a man
on the edge of the Gaza Strip they said was trying to breach a security fence and enter Israel.
An Israeli military statement released Sunday morning and quoted by The Associated Press said the man had crossed an outer barrier and was nearing the main fence when troops shot him.
Palestinian medical officials identified the dead man as Mohammed Abu Dikri, 34.
