The Shoura Council commended in its session presided over here today by its Chairman Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid the outcome of the Third Extraordinary Islamic Summit recently concluded in Makkah. In its statement, the Council praised the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the Summit which expressed the Kingdom's high position in the Muslim world and embodied the Kingdom's pioneering role in the solidarity of the Muslim nation. It added that the speech represents a clear vision to deal with the problems of extremism and to spread tolerance and moderation. The Council's Secretary General Dr. Salih Al-Malik said that the Council discussed items on its agenda including a draft project of importing chemical materials and their administration and a draft agreement on international railways in the Arab Orient.
