The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a message to Sheikh Jaber Alahmed Aljaber Alsabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, dealing with aspects of cooperation between the two countries, particularly ways of developing the Peninsula Shield Force within the GCC joint action. Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, handed over the message to Sheikh Sabah Alahmed Aljaber Alsabah, the Prime Minister, during an audience at the Emir's Court in Kuwait today. Prince Khalid also conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz to Sheikh Sabah Alsabah. On his part, Sheikh Sabah welcomed Prince Khalid in his second country. Sheikh Sabah also sent his greetings to the monarch and his crown prince. During the audience, cordial talks were exchanged and a number of issues of mutual concern were discussed. The meeting was attended by a number of senior protocol officials, Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Ahmed bin Hamad Alyahya and accompanying delegation.
