Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, will patronize here tomorrow the inaugural ceremony of Prince Sultan center for Treatment of Kidney Diseases at King Fahd Central Hospital here. Director General of the Administration of medical services at the Armed Forces Major General Katab Al-Oteibi said the project of the center was implemented at the expense of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, at a total cost of more than SR 26 million. The center includes 70 kidney washing units and 70 beds for the admission of the patients in addition to ten beds for the intense care cases. The center is formed of a number of sections including specialized and supporting clines, a laboratory, a maintenance workshop and a pharmacy in addition to a water desalination station. 'The center has been provided with the most sophisticated medical equipment, he added.
