The Executive Office of The Arab Ministers in charge of Environment Affairs, headed by Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the General President of Meteorology and Protection of Environment, called on Arab countries today to forge nuclear emergency plans to face any risks of radio leakage from Israel's Atomic Reactor in Dimona as well as to exchange available information among the member counties and Arab Commission for Atomic Energy. Also, the Executive Office urged the international community and institutions to coerce Israel to let its nuclear facilities supervised by International Atomic Energy Agency inspection teams and reveal the locations of its hidden nuclear wastes. The statement also requested UN programme for Environment to present reports about measures taken to assess pollution spots in Iraq and about the environmental situation of Arab countries affected by Tsunami such as Yemen and Somalia in addition to the environment of the Red Sea and Aden Gulf. --More 2243 Local Time 1943 GMT
