A bus crammed with Kashmiri villagers plunged off an earthquake ruined mountain road on Sunday, killing at least five people, an official at an Islamist charity hospital said, according to Reuters. The accident occurred at Chalpani, in the Neelam valley, around 13 km (8 miles) from Muzaffarabad, the devastated capital of Pakistani Kashmir. Another seven critically injured, said the official at a field hospital run by Jamaat-ud-Dawa, an Islamist charity with militant links. "We don't know the exact number of passengers on board. But many people were sitting on the roof, and the casualty figure may be high," he said. Police Deputy Inspector General Mehmood Qureshi said three bodies had been recovered so far and the rescue operation was ongoing.
