Dr Nasser Abdullah Mehdi, the Head of the Department of Heart at the Hospital and who is also Head of the Conference's Organizing Committee, said Dr Hussein Al-Jaza'eri, the World Health Organization's (WHO) Regional Director General, will brief the participants of the conference on the role of WHO in combating heart diseases.
