Spreading urban unrest with hundreds of arson attacks on vehicles, nursery schools and other targets from the Mediterranean to the German border reached Paris for the first time overnight, with police saying Sunday that 28 cars were burned in the French capital. Police made 186 arrests nationwide in the 10th night of urban violence, the Associated Press quoted the Interior Ministry as saying. The number of cars torched _ 918 across France _ was the highest yet. Of those, 545 were outside of the Paris region, it said.
