In implementation of the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of Saudi Popular Campaign for Assisting the People affected by the earthquake recently hit Pakistan, the First Relief Convoy run by the Campaign left Riyadh on Sunday for King Abdulaziz Seaport, Dammam in preparation for shipping it by sea to Pakistan. The convoy is the first fruit of the Campaign called by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for supporting the affected people in Pakistan and for relieving their sufferings. The convoy comprises 100 containers loaded with large quantities of tents, blankets and foodstuffs. It will arrive in Pakistan in the next few days and it will be followed by a number of relief convoys carrying foodstuffs and medical supplies.
