The security spokesman at the Interior Ministry has denied press reports which said that some repenters, earlier involved in terror acts, were released, adding that 'only persons on whom the required organizational procedures were completed, will be released'. The security spokesman pointed out that some persons, influenced by the deviated ideas and who were released, were interviewed by the Sharia committees in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that they were convinced that their previous ideas had lacked soundness. "They were released after briefing their families on their real situation, and after the pledge of their families to take care of them," the security spokesman noted.
