Islamabad-based ambassadors of several countries have taken an aerial view of the earthquake hit areas including Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Ghari Habibullah and Balakot to see the extent of damage, an official statement said. Minister for Defense Rao Sikandar Iqbal and Minister of State for Defense Zahid Hamid accompanied more than 15 ambassadors. The General Officers Commanding at Bagh, Muzaffarabad, and the Brigade Commander at Ghari Habibullah, gave comprehensive briefings to the diplomats about the rescue and relief operations being carried out in the earthquake affected areas. They visited the field hospitals set up at Bagh and Balakot and enquired about the health of patients wounded due to the severe earthquake. The diplomats also visited a tent city at Ghari Habibullah and met with people and assured them that the government would use all its resources for the rehabilitation of the people hit by the earthquake.
