A strong earthquake rocked Indonesia's Aceh province on Wednesday, damaging some buildings and sparking an exodus to higher ground in the region worst effected by last year's tsunami. There were no reports of casualties, and the fears of a tsunami appeared to be unfounded. The magnitude 5.6 quake was centered about 50 kilometers (30 miles) southeast of the provincial capital, Banda Aceh, Indonesia's Meteorology and Geophysics office said on its Web Site. The Associated Press quoted witnesses as saying that hundreds of panicked people either ran, or crammed into cars or onto motorbikes to flee inland or to higher ground.
