The city of London remains an "iconic site" for another terror attack following the train bombings in July in which 52 people died, the deputy head of Scotland Yard has said, according to DPA. Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman told the Guardian newspaper Thursday while "no plot" had been discovered, police were tracking a number of people it feared could be planning terrorist attacks. "I don't want to scaremonger but it has to be said, when you look around the world and at the prominence of London, that the threat is real," he said. "We have close links with the Moslem community but the next step is getting them to share information," Hayman said.
