Quds city, Sept 28, SPA -- An Israeli-Palestinian summit, tentatively scheduled for next week, has been postponed, a Palestinian negotiator said Wednesday. The negotiator, Saeb Erekat, said the decision was taken in consultation with Israel, and that no new date has been set. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon were scheduled to meet Sunday, Abbas has said he expected the summit to take place eventually, despite the recent flare-up of violence, but that more preparation is needed, according to a report of The Associated Press.
