On behalf of Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah region, Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jeddah, inaugurated here on Monday evening a seminar on the new world system which works through Galileo, under the title of 'Galileo: Future Vision for Investment Horizons'. The seminar is organized by the General Commission for Civil Aviation in Jeddah. Speaking on the occasion, Eng Abdullah bin Mohammed Noor Rahimi, the President of the General Commission for Civil Aviation, said Galileo is a new world system for determining locations though satellites. He noted that the admission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the system of Galileo will provide it with great advantages in the political, economic and scientific spheres. Moreover, it will enable the Saudi private sector to benefit from the world market through such systems. On his part, Deputy President of Talis Company Georgeo Solai said the system of Galileo works through satellites for determining the location.
