Ministers of Defense of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states concluded here today the 4th meeting of GCC Joint Defense Council. The Saudi delegation was headed by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. At the beginning of the closing session, Bahrain's Minister of Defense Major General Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa delivered a speech and read the final statement of the 4th meeting of GCC Joint Defense Council. The Ministers of Defense of GCC member states thanked King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to them in Bahrain. The 5th regular meeting of the GCC Joint Defense Council will be held next year in Abu Dhabi, it was announced at the end of the meeting.
