Here is the story again: Paris, Sept 24, SPA -- In the presence of Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Madani, Saudi ambassador to France Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh and a number of senior officials, an exhibition entitled "Heritage and Modernity" was opened here on Friday. The arts show displays drawings prepared by three Saudi artists, namely: Safiyyah bin Zaqir, Zia Aziz Zia and Faisal Samra. The show is organized by the Riyadh-based Al-Mansouriyya Organization for Culture and Innovation , the Saudi embassy in Paris, and the Municipality of Neuilly-Sur-Seine. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor of Neuilly-Sur-Seine Louis Charles Barry highlighted the Saudi-French relations. Praising the Late King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz, he said King Fahd was a man of peace who dedicated his efforts for enhancing the pillars of peace at the regional and global arenas. He expressed confidence that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will follow the footsteps of the Late King Fahd. On his part, Madani highlighted the Kingdom's great role at the Gulf, Arab and Muslim arenas, and said the Kingdom has been playing influential economic role at the world level. Madani said the development achievements accomplished by the Kingdom were not at the expense of its deep-rooted values and principles. He noted that the Kingdom is keen on enhancing its cultural cooperation with France.
