A Colombian passenger plane with at least 20 people on board was hijacked Monday and was circling the capital, Bogota. The two male hijackers threatened to set off hand grenades and demanded that the plane land at the airport in Bogota, officials said. They were also demanding intervention by the Catholic Church. The Aires company that operates the plane said it was inbound from the city of Florencia, in the south of Colombia. --SP 2256 Local Time 1956 GMT
