The European Union's executive Commission approved on Monday an accord to free up blocked Chinese textile imports, paving the way for the goods to be released on Wednesday, a Commission source said. Commissioners rubber-stamped the deal which was negotiated with Beijing by European Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson earlier this month and has already received the backing of EU member states, the source said.
