Press briefing held by Undersecretary of Ministry of Labor for Planning and Developm

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Planning and Development Dr. Abdulwahed Al-Homaid said that the numbers of expatriate workers decreased and the number of Saudi workers increased.
In a press briefing here today, he attributed the development to the policies implemented by the Ministry of Labor to employ Saudis in the privet sector.
He added that the number of Saudi workers in the privet sector establishments who are registered in the database of the Ministry of Labor increased by 13.91% during the period from the 1/1/1426 to 22/7/1426 H.
Responding to a question on the problems of expatriate workers and the department that can consider their complaints, he said a department called "the Department of Expatriate Workers Welfare" helps any expatriate worker suffering any injustice.
