More than five million students at the stages of general education, higher education, and technical and vocational education will go back tomorrow to their classes. These students include 4,878,732 at the stage of general education at more than 30820 schools of boys and girls with 411,601 teachers and female teachers. The Ministry of Education has made all the required arrangements for receiving the new academic year, 1426-1427. Meanwhile, Minister of Education Dr Abdullah bin Salih Al-Obeid underscored the importance of the integration of the educational institutions with the institutions of cultural and ideological influence. He noted that that at his meeting with the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, he had pledged to honor obligations and commitments towards the religion and the country, and to work sincerely and tirelessly for performing the responsibility. 'The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques has asked us to fear Almighty Allah and to work sincerely', he said . Dr Al-Obeid warned against disunity and said 'Almighty Allah has ordered us to close our ranks'. He urged the teachers to shoulder their responsibility towards their students, and asked the students to behave properly and to dedicate their efforts for the acquisition of more knowledge.
