Prince Khalid Alfaisal, the Governor of Assir Region, arrived in Lisbon yesterday on an official seven-day visit to Portugal in response to an invitation from Portugal's Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Rediogo Fretas Amaryl and Minister of Culture Dr Isabel Pelmei. He was received by representatives of the Portuguese ministries of foreign affairs and culture, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Portugal Mohammed bin Hamoud Al-Rahseed and Portugal's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During his stay in Portugal Prince Khalid Alfaisal will organize a formative arts exhibition in the country. In an arrival statement, Prince Khalid hoped that his visit would positively contribute to further enhancing cultural ties as well as political and economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Portugal.
